Welcome to LANOMS´2003

Welcome to LANOMS 2003, the Third Latin American Network Operations and Management Symposium, to be held in Brazil, at the city Iguassu Falls, Parana state. LANOMS is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Communications Society and supported by IEEE CNOM - Committee on Network Operations and Management.

The main goal of LANOMS is to create a Latin American forum in the area of network management focused on boht the local and global audience involving networking and telecommunication companies, academic institutions, service providers and equipment vendors.

LANOMS is an event open to participants from all over the world who are interested in having, or already have, research or commercial liaisons in Latin America - one of the fastest growing regions in the world in networking and telecommunications. The first and second LANOMS were attended by participants from not only Latin America, but also North America, Europe and Asia.

The program of the symposium will include presentations of technical papers, tutorials, panels and social events.

We are pleased to invite people to submit papers to the conference. The papers will be reviewd by international experts in the area of network management. Please refer to the call for papers to get more details.
