About me

Hello, I'm Leon!
I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science from UFPR and am currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Informatics at PPGInf-UFPR, specializing in Computer Networks and Distributed Systems. Under the advisement of Professor Elias P. Duarte Jr., my research focuses on fault-tolerant routing with Fast-Reroute. I also hold secondary interests in Artificial Intelligence and Databases.

Awards and Honors

• Top 10 Undergraduate Thesis (CTIC 2025/SBC): Recognized by the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC) for one of the top 10 undergraduate scientific works in computing nationwide at the Concurso de Trabalhos de Iniciação Científica.
• Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program Scholar (ELAP 2023): Awarded a scholarship for research at the Université de Moncton, Canada, funded by the Canadian government.
