2nd Practical Activity - Iris Recognition

  1. Download the databases
  2. Implement a function to segment and normalize iris region for:
  3. Compute features: - Binary Zero crossing Wavelet for Iris verification - Local Binary Patterns (LBP) for Iris identification - Gabor 2D Wavelets (extra points) - Laplacian of Gaussian (extra points)
  4. Compute metrics: - FAR/FRR (DET curve) and EER for Iris verification using Hamming distance - Accuracy for Iris identification using SVM and KNN
  5. Fusion of score / Multiple signatures (future works)
