Venus is the Italian Greyhound Lilian considers to be the best she has ever bred. In the picture below she is shown winning Best Of Breed under judge Tim Robbins.

Venus was bred 4 times, and produced 4 champions out of those litters. Lilian mentions that at least 5 other puppies were of strong quality and could have finished their championships had their owners been interested in showing them. Nevertheless she did make an impact in the IG world through her puppies, and can be found in several pedigrees of dogs that are winning today, including the 2011 IGCA National Specialty BISS Ch Voici Where There's Smoke There's Fire, a Venus grand-grandson.
